701, 702, and 707 will have their first tests on notebook checks on Friday, September 19.

707's test will be on estimating and adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing decimals.
701 and 702 will be from sections 11-1, 4-6, 5-2,1-2,1-5,1-6,1-9

Seventh Grade Syllabus

In the seventh grade the syllabus includes:

September and October – Reviewing and expanding upon knowledge of square roots, scientific and standard notation, decimals, rational and irrational numbers, operations of integers, finding multiples and factors.

November and December – Subsituting known values in for algebraic symbols, solving algebraic equations and inequalities, translating word problems into numbers and symbols, and a review of measurement systems.

January to March – finding area, perimeter, volume, and surface area, how to display data graphically, and calculate probability.

March to June – operations of monomials, solve multi-step equations and inequalities, right triangle rules, calculate unit prices, and convert the scale of a map.
